EN: HUMANITIES 8
Prerequisite: Grade 7
Humanities teaches students the basic knowledge of and application skills of english and social studies. Humanities helps students develop their skills in Communication, Thinking and personal and social competencies.
EN: LITERARY STUDIES AND CREATIVE WRITING 10
Prerequisite: English Language Arts 9
In Literary studies and Creative writing, students will learn literature and develop their skills in its era, geographic area, theme, and study.
Students will explore expression through their own language and learn to collaborate through reading and writing processes.
EN: ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS 9

Prerequisite: Humanities 8 / English 8
English Language Arts 9 provides students with extended knowledge that was once taught in humanities 8. Students will learn more knowledge based on the information from their previous class and build on it. Students are expected to know the following:

Develop Content and Curricular competencies

Learn from purposeful communication which can develop their competencies
EN: COMPOSITION AND SPOKEN LANGUAGE 10

Prerequisite: English Language Arts 9
In composition and spoken language, students will learn to develop their written communication through a process of questioning, exploring, and sampling. This course constructs language compentencies that students have spoken by introducing them to topics of oral competencies.

EN: LITERARY STUDIES 11
Prerequisite: English Language Arts 10
In Literary Studies 11, students will learn how to dive more deeply into literary. Students will explore themes, periods, authors, and areas of the world to help them develop better thinking core competencies. Students are encouraged to read and think in different forms and are expected to develop from that critically. At this level, they will start to enhance the core competencies of the english language arts even further through diverse texts and close reading.
