Organelle Functions

Here's what every organelle can do:

Ribosome -
Makes protein for the cell

Nucleus - The control center of the cell

Nucleolus
- mRNA synthesis

Lysosome - Waste breakdown function

Vacuole - Nutrient storage function

Mitochondria - Energy production site

Cell membrane - Regulation of entry

Cell wall - Structural protection

Vesicles - Single - membrane compartments storages and transportation of materials

Flagelleum - Performs sensory or locomotion tasks.

Peroxisome - Breaks down hydrogen peroxide

Proteasome
- Degrades unnecessary proteins
