SS: HUMANITIES 8
prequisite: grade 7 
Humanities teaches students the basic knowledge of and application skills of english and social studies. Humanities helps students develop their skills in Communication, Thinking and personal and social competencies.

SS: SOCIAL STUDIES 9
Prequisite: Grade 8 
This course will cover important major issues in Western Civilization from the 17th to 19th century. Students will focus on Pre-Confederation Canada and the political, social, economic, and technological revolutions. 

SS: SOCIAL STUDIES 10
Prequisite: Grade 9
This Course will build on the same competencies discussed in the last two courses. Students will continue to develop important inquiry skills that will help them identify and explain histories and parts of the map.

SS: EXPLORATIONS IN SOCIAL STUDIES 11
Prequisite: Grade 10
This course is selected for students who are interested in locally relevant content. A variety of topics are selected: Social, cultural, or technological innovations and developments in the 20th century, colonialism and contemporary issues. 

SS: SS: 20th CENTURY WORLD HISTORY 12
Prequisite: Grade 11
This course focus on the history from the 20th century (right now) with consequences from ww1 and 2. Topics include: rise of authoritarianism, civil wars and independence movements, human rights   
along with movements, religious, ethnic, cultural conflict and global conflicts (ww1 and ww2)
