Variables and Integers

About Variables and Integers:

Variables are typically a symbol or letter that represents a certain value in a math question. For example: x could be referred as a value that you need to find in the question. Ex. x = 6+9. That would mean the value of the variable is 15. Now on to Integers, there are two types of integers, positive and negative. Positive integers are numbers that are greater than 0. For ex. 1, 2, 3, 4...  These numbers are positive because they go above the neutral number. As for negative, they are the numbers that go below the number 0 which means they are negative. For ex. -1, -2, -3, -4...  So, that explains the overall summary of these terms.










Importance:
Variables and integers are important because they can help us identify the value of the unknown and determine whether this value is negative or positive. These terms can be important for programmers as their goal is to help get these jobs done.
